Hair loss happens for many people, and hair transplant surgery is a procedure that Naravee Aesthetic Clinic
offers to help reverse it. There is a period of recovery after the transplant, and although it is nowhere near as extensive as many other types of surgery, it will still help to understand what to expect during the recovery period.
Unlike with most surgery, you can generally begin your daily routine after hair transplant surgery almost immediately, though there are some things you should will need to adjust. For example, you will generally have to shower more in the first week after the hair transplant surgery. The first day after, you should shampoo your scalp three times, and then twice a day for the first week after the procedure. Make sure to be gentle while shampooing. After the first 10 days, you should be able to go back to your normal shampoo routine.
You should also wear a hat if you are going to be out in the sun for extended periods of time, as the skin on your scalp may be sensitive after the surgery and susceptible to burning. It is generally a good idea to wear a hat for about two weeks after the surgery if you are going to be out in the sun for a long time.
If you are someone who exercises, you will likely have to cut back on the amount of exercise you do for the first few weeks, though you do not have to stop completely. You should avoid strenuous exercises, but light exercising should be fine. Consult with your doctor about when exactly would be a good time to resume your normal exercise routine.
In terms of when you will start to see the results of the transplant, it is usually around 10 weeks after the procedure when the new hair starts to grow. After about six months, your hair should be long enough to begin grooming it. And then after about a year, it should be fully grown out again. Of course, the exact time depends on how long you grow the hair for. If you don’t want long hair, it will probably take less time for it to grow out to a length you are happy with.
