Things to Ask About Facelift Surgery During Consultation

Update 16/09/2018

Facelift surgery is one of the procedures you may have done at Naravee Aesthetic Clinic. And while there are general questions to ask the surgeon during a consultation that apply to all cosmetic procedures, there are a few questions that you will want to ask that are specific about facelift surgery.
One thing to ask of the surgeon is their previous experience with facelift surgery. Different surgeons are experts in different types of surgery, and you want to make sure that the surgeon who you are getting has done facelifts before. After all, it would be just a bit of an issue if the surgeon is an expert with breast augmentation but has little to no experience with facelift surgery.

Another thing to ask is if you should consider having other procedures done along with the facelift to achieve the desired effect. Sometimes people find that one single procedure does not achieve the look they are looking for, and further cosmetic surgery would be required. Ask the surgeon what other types of procedures people who get facelifts often also get.
Don’t be afraid to ask about the full facelift procedure. It may get gruesome, and you may be uncomfortable with some of the details, but it is important to know just what you are getting yourself into. After all, you are thinking of undergoing surgery that may have a major impact on how your face looks.
Ask about specific side effects for facelift surgery. Ask the surgeon how often people who have a facelift report experiencing symptoms such as pain, nausea, swelling, bleeding, and infection. You may even want to ask the surgeon to provide you with a list of side effects that people who have had facelift surgery reported. Also ask what can be done to minimize these side effects, and ask if the surgeon will be providing any medication to help in that area.
Something else to ask about the facelift surgery is how long the effects of the surgery itself will last, and whether or not further facelift surgeries would be needed. Depending on the type of facelift you get, the lift may last anywhere in the range of five to ten years. It is important to ask the surgeon how long the specific type of facelift you’re getting generally lasts.
