With over 8,000 market stalls to choose from, it is almost impossible that you won’t find something to purchase at the Market. Among the many types stalls you will find are book shops, pet shops, antique shops, clothing shops, furniture shops, craft shops, and a lot more. The Market is open Friday from 6 pm to 12 am and Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am to 6 pm. Be aware that you may have to fight a crowd, as it is not unusual for upwards of 200,000 people to visit the Market on a typical weekend.

If night shopping is your thing, Asiatique the Riverfront is your best bet. It is found on Charoen Krung Road. It is an open-air mall that features over 1,500 boutiques. In addition, there are over 40 restaurants at the mall. Some of the boutiques you can find at Asiatique include jewelry shops, clothing shops, souvenir shops, and electronics shops (including an Apple store). Among the restaurants are Italian restaurants, Thai restaurants, pizza shops, and even some big-name brands such as KFC. Asiatique is open all week from 5 pm to 12 am.

For anyone who is into electronics, Pantip Plaza is a must-see. Located on Petchaburi Road, Pantip Plaza is a five-story mall of electronics, electronics, and more electronics. You can find pretty much everything electronics here, including PCs, laptops, tablets, digital cameras, televisions, and more. The downside is that the Plaza is notorious for the selling of counterfeit electronics. It can be difficult to distinguish between the real and fake products, but many of the trusted shops there will openly acknowledge which products are counterfeit and will offer you the real products alongside them (as the counterfeit products are usually cheaper). The Plaza is open all week from 10 am to 9 pm.
