Cosmetic Procedures for Removing Wrinkles

Update 16/09/2018

Wrinkles can really add age to your appearance. As such, you may be looking for ways to either reduce them or remove them. There are several options available at Naravee Aesthetic Clinic, which include both invasive and minimally invasive procedures.

One procedure for reducing wrinkles is a minimally invasive procedure known as microdermabrasion. With microdermabrasion, the cosmetic surgeon uses a specific tool to gently sand off the outermost layer of your skin. This allows new, fresh skin to take its place. The downside to this procedure is that it does nothing to solve the problems that are causing your wrinkles in the first place, so even when you have it done, if you don't do anything to remove those problems, your wrinkles will eventually come back. Still, if you are looking for a way to reduce them for a time, and you don't want to have complicated surgery, microdermabrasion is definitely an option.

Another type of minimally invasive procedure for wrinkles are chemical peels, which are chemicals that are placed on the skin that cause it to peel off. Much like microdermabrasion, chemical peels work to remove layers of skin to allow a new layer to replace it. There are generally three types of peels: Superficial peels, which only remove the outer layer; medium peels, which remove the outer and middle layers; and deep peels, which go far into the middle layer. For wrinkles, you generally should only need a superficial peel. Again, though, like with microdermabrasion, peels don't remove the source of the wrinkles in the first place.

A face lift is a much more invasive type of procedure, but it is generally more effective in giving you longer lasting results. With a face lift, the skin on your face is pulled back behind the ears, which helps stretch the skin out and remove wrinkles. It is generally very effective at removing wrinkles, but there are some downsides. For starters, as mentioned, it is an invasive procedure, which means there will be recovery time. Second, the results can be much more long lasting – Even permanent – Than the minimally invasive procedures. As a result, if you don't like how your face looks after the procedure, there may be nothing you can do to reverse it.
